The Geotechnical Data Experience - From Measurement to Insights

The workshop is designed as an interactive “knowledge speed-dating” format in which participants rotate through several hands-on stations. Each station showcases a different technological perspective along the data lifecycle – from sensor measurements to data integration, process interpretation and decisionmaking.
 

• Duration: 4-5 hours (flexible)
• Structure: Short keynote (30-45 min) + rotating stations (4–6 stations)
• Method: Demonstrations, live data interpretation, hands-on exploration
• Outcomes: i) Practical understanding of data-driven decision-making, ii) Cross-disciplinary insight into digitalisation in geotechnics, iii) Real examples of automated data collection, processing and visualisation
• Informal exchange between participants and presenters after the workshop for deeper discussion and networking
• Follow-up Handout summing up the key content and information for all participants and interested parties
